FORMULATION FACT 01

We chose naturally derived phytic acid instead of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) salts designed to improve stability and enhance preservation of our products. Manufacturing EDTA and its salts involves reacting ethylenediamine, a harmful substance associated with reproductive toxicity Unfortunately, EDTA and its salts may contain trace amounts of this substance. EDTA and its salts are also persistent and can harm the environment.

We chose skin conditioning ingredients like sea water, skin protectants like Rhododendron Ferrugineum (Alpine Rose) Extract, and emulsifiers like xanthan gum and sclerotium gum instead of heavily ethoxylated ingredients like PEG/PPG-14/7 Dimethyl Ether and PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil that carry particular risk for carcinogenic contaminants, 1,4-dioxane and ethylene oxide.       Hydrating essence.

      I love this product. Luckily it goes a long way and I was able to make the old style bottle last until counter was up and running again. Feels wonderful on my skin and I think it helps other serums penetrate as well
